My first blog entry is appropriately centered on "Alkalinity vs Acidity".
I have been reminded, many times, that this is at the center of the issue of
"Inflamation".

Why do I think this is so important?

Chronic inflamation is the cause of many serious ailments we battle today.
If you feel like you may be out of balance, don't panic....you can bring yourself back in line.
Nutritionists have suggested limiting the acidic offenders such as:

Meat, Dairy, Sugar, Alcohol, Caffeine and Salt.

While putting limits on these items, increase the "Alkaline" foods into your system.
Fruits and vegetables are great for increasing the alkaline element in
our diet. Salads can include almonds, walnuts, pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
Cherries and raisins are also considered very alkaline, and are a great
addition to cereals, smoothies, home-made muffins etc.

Do your own pH test at home.
Litmus paper is readily available at your drugstore. You can either test your pH with saliva or urine.  The following article explains how truly important, this subject is ....  "Livestrong"
